Resolutions are looking very different this year

So here we are in January 2021. It is January, isn’t it? The days and weeks and months seem to be blurring onto one long Zoom call at the moment, punctuated by the occasional sortie to the local park for a bit of exercise; it’s Groundhog Day every day, at least here in London, UK. Nevertheless, we thought it would be agood time to look at resolutions. Would a year like 2020 cause us to change what kind of New Year’s resolutions we made? Brandwatch Consumer Research decided to find out.

They collected the following insights by picking up mentions of New Year’s resolutions posted between Dec 29 and Jan 2 for the years 2015 – 2021, then split out the data by year to see if anything has changed.
